In a new photo released on Instagram, rapper Hanumankind teased an upcoming project with American rapper A$AP Rocky, saying, “A$AP Rocky x HMK OTW”. Imagine the surprise when he debuted a new remix for his smash hit Big Dawgs featuring the goat himself. Quite unexpectedly, seems like his fans were in for a roller-coaster ride, and right before Christmas?

From the underground to the big leagues: Big Dawgs feat. A$AP Rocky
It has been a hot minute since HMK acquired worldwide fame for his sensational chart topper. Performing at various gigs such as the NH7 Weekender and more, it was a long road from the underground to the mainstream. Though his hard work has definitely paid off in the long run, new music has definitely been anticipated from the artist.
We first caught a whiff of action stirring from his interview with NME where he said, “Absolutely, there is new music coming. I’m working on it, but I don’t want to put a label on it. It’s definitely a by product of me just wanting to create. I like the idea of a bigger body of work rather than just another song, so I’m trying to put together something that can satisfy my urge to do that. I’m going to do that and see where it takes me.”
“There are some cool collaborations that are on the way, and I’m blessed to be a part of them, you know? I think it’s just what we decide to release at the end of it, so I’m going to keep it at that and keep trying to push myself. These are names I would have never thought I’d be working with.”
“I like things to be revealed when the time is right. We still have to put pieces together for it, but rest assured it’s there – and hopefully, it can provide you with a good musical experience.”

Surely though, it was difficult to imagine a collaboration with the Purple Swag musician. To speak about ending the year on a bang! The collaboration sheds light on the humble roots that make up hip-hop, and brought initial acclaim for the genre. Big Dawgs remix is now available across all major streaming platforms.
